Ann Echols

Dr. Ann Echols, founder of greenWELLS, Inc., carries our socially-minded business consulting by working with organizations to help them enact triple bottom-line strategies that create positive synergies among people, the planet, and profit. Striving for sustainable business practices is an ongoing effort of relative improvement that all organizations should embrace, as sustainability brings goodwill, increased balance, and greater health to society.

Before becoming a consultant, Ann earned her Ph.D. in Strategic Management, Technology & Entrepreneurship and an Ed.D in Education from Virginia Tech, and was employed as a tenure-track faculty at Penn State's Smeal College for five years.

Ann is a member of the Academy of Management - Organizations in the Natural Environment, Healthcare, and Entrepreneurship Divisions. She also works with PSU students as an instructor of Healthcare Finance, and with developing and implementing web-tools that enable people to work with less paper. Ann serves the community through her work as Treasurer of Nittany Beagle Rescue and lives with her husband, cat, and many rescued beagles in Port Matilda, PA.
